At the bottom of the page in MS4, there is a page number that reads 1. Do you know how to delete this?
With Story files, you can turn off pagination (the number) by closing all pages so you can see the story file (all the pages in thumbnail format).
From the main menu, select Story => Change Story Settings. Deselect the checkbox next to the title Pagination Settings, and press OK. This will remove the page number from the page.
Now, there will always be a page number located outside of the live area of the page (usually labeled “Page 1,” “Page 2,” etc). This (as far as I know) cannot be removed, but will not be visible in the final export, provided you have deselected the Page Info checkbox, or will not be outputting the Entire Page.

The only way I can figure out how to do it is to delete the settings folder.
You can find this in the preferences window (Main Menu: File => Preferences, then click the Folder Path link). Copy the path seen in the "Use Data Folder Location" text box (usually My Documents/Smith Micro/MangaStudio4 Settings), open Windows Explorer, and paste the path into the address bar. Then delete that folder.
When you restart Manga Studio, a new preferences folder will be created, with all of the default settings.

I’m going to go on the assumption that you’re talking about word balloons, and not Manga Studio’s tool dialog boxes.
Yes, you can change the color of both the word balloon, and the outline (if you’re using MS EX). When you enter text you’ll see the properties window opens. Click on the tab that says "Dialog balloon settings."
From there, you would either click the "Generate Dialog Balloon" or "Select Dialog Balloon From Materials" buttons to create your word ballon. Then, all you need to do is check "Color of Dialogue Balloon Lines" and/or "Color Inside Dialogue Balloon" check boxes. To select the color, click on the respective color boxes (to the right of the option text), and select the color you want to use from the color picker window that appears.

I don’t believe you can.
The closest tools I believe you can use are the blur or smudge tools, but as far as pure color blending, that’s not quite what the program was designed to do.

The Rasterize Panel Ruler dialog box doesn’t exist in version 4. Additionally, it looks like they changed where the Rasterize Layer command is on the Main Menu.
The command is now located in the Layer menu => Rasterize Layer. Now, a simple box appears asking if you want to keep the original (panel ruler) layer. Make your choice and voila! You now have rasterized frame borders.

I suppose it would, in a way. If I remember correctly, switching to mouse mode will turn off pressure sensitivity, so you may lose that in the process.
Long story short: test it out and see if it works for you.

1. Select the pen/pencil/etc you wish to chang ethe pen pressure on.
2. Open the Pen Tool Options window (Window->Tool Options from the main menu, or F3 on your keyboard).
3. On the Pen Tool Options Window, click the green circle next to the "Size" option. This will bring up the Brush Control window.
4. You should see what looks like a graph, with a title called "Special Settings." That is what you will use to adjust the pen pressure. Use your stylus to drag the line curve around by any of the endpoints, or the 3rd purple square tethered to the line curve. Test your pen out on a new canvas, and adjust the line curve until you’re happy with how it feels.

Thanks.
Copying and pasting anything in Manga Studio is pretty much the same as other art programs. Use the lasso or marquee tool to select the item, and press Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on the Mac) to copy and Ctrl+V (Cmd+V) to paste.
The item you’ve pasted will be on a new layer. To merge the new layer with the previous one, Select the new layer from the Layers window, and press Ctrl+E (Cmd+E). Or, from the main menu, select Layer -> Merge With Lower Layers.

The best way I can come up with that solution is to create the shape on a layer (which will create the outline of the shape), then use the fill tool to then fill in the shape.
